The Lord showed me this circuit. It was very clear the various components of the circuit, Power Source, Switch and Lamp.I asked Him what He meant and He explained.
He said that He is the Power Source, I am the switch and the children that I am to impact are the lamp.
My role was to connect Him to them so that they may shine. It is not my role to shine, but just to be the connection agent. Even so, my role is no less important or vital as me not fulfilling my calling would mean that all those represented by the Lamp would not be lit with His Power.
He then reminded me that the brightness of the lamp was inversely proportional to the resistance of the circuit. The higher the resistance the dimmer the bulb. So I reminded Him that the circuit above did not have a resistor. He very gently reminded me that the switch actually has some internal resistance. The resistance was inherent in the switch and it resisted the Power and impeded the flow of the Current.
He then told me that my internal resistance to Him would affect the brightness of the people I impacted. He then told me that He is able to work in me to reduce the internal resistance in my life to Him.
Lord, I want those that I impact to shine as brightly as is possible. Search me and help to reduce the internal resistance in my life. Flow through me Lord so that the lamp may be as bright as possible.

I found the actual entry in my journal. This is what Daddy God said to me when He showed me the circuit.
"Joseph, you are the switch in this circuit. You have internal resistance. The bulb is the children. You are to connect the bulb to the power source but the amount of current is limited by the resistance. As R->0, I->infinity and as I -> infinity, the bulb is at its brightest.
Connect the children to me, and they will begin to shine. As your resistance to me reduces, they will shine brighter.
You are the switch, I AM the Source."
